Features of training with steroids
One of the main factors for the successful use of anabolic steroids is the correct reorganization of the training. In general, training with the use of steroids is not much different from regular training programs, however, there are some accents and features that we will consider in this article.
Rest
It is known that when using steroids, it is possible and necessary to train more often and more intensively. However, this does not imply that you should exhaust yourself with loads every day. The muscles, as well as with normal training, need rest. It is optimal to load one muscle group 1 time every 4-7 days. To do this, you can make a triple split workout (break all muscle groups into 3 parts, each of which will fall on a certain day) and practice every other day. Do not forget that you need to sleep at least 8-10 hours a day. Also, if possible, polyphasic sleep is desirable.
Repeats and sets
The number of sets and repetitions does not differ from the usual training:
Exercises – 2-3 per muscle group
Sets – 3 – 4 per exercise
Repetitions – 6-8
Duration of training
The optimal duration of training is 1-2 hours.
Warm-up
Steroids significantly increase strength indicators in a short time, at the same time, the level of strength of tendons and cartilage remains the same, which increases the risk of injury. Therefore, always do a thorough warm-up. If you get seriously injured, the effectiveness of the course will decrease dramatically, since you will not be able to continue performing full-fledged workouts.
High-intensity training
You need to create the maximum growth-stimulating effect on the muscles during the cycle. This can be achieved by progressively increasing weights and using elements of high-intensity training.
Start the cycle with a moderate intensity workout (your usual workout) and throughout the cycle, constantly increase the intensity. At each new workout, you have to work with heavier weights, so after each visit to the gym, the muscles will receive super stimulation, which will ensure intensive muscle growth.
Do not increase the load sharply from the very beginning of the cycle, as in this case there will be insufficient opportunities for progress in the future, besides it is dangerous for health. It is optimal to achieve a 30% gradual increase in weights from the beginning of the cycle to its end.

It is important to know not only how to train during the cycle, but also after it. At the end of taking anabolic steroids, the testosterone level drops below the initial one, and if appropriate preventive measures are not taken during this period, then in a month all the results will be lost.
After the cycle, a PCT is required
As soon as you stop taking anabolics, start reducing the intensity of training. The concept of intensity includes, first of all, the weight and number of exercises, as well as the duration of the workout (many advise to reduce it to 30-40 minutes). The greater the intensity, the more the muscles are subjected to stress.
So, if you started the cycle with 100% intensity, by the end of the cycle you reached 130%, a week after the cycle the intensity should decrease to 70%, and after 2 weeks to 50%!
Thus, 2 weeks after the cycle, you should leave the gym without feeling tired. If you continue to practice according to the previous program, your muscles will begin to collapse quickly under the influence of powerful catabolic processes. At the same time, you should try to keep large weights (to give the muscles sufficient stimulation), but reduce the number of repetitions and increase rest between sets. Highly repetitive workouts are not recommended, because they activate catabolic processes more strongly.
After 4 weeks after the cycle, you can increase the load to 80%, after another 2 weeks to 100%, after which continue to practice according to the usual program.
